In December 2011, Anar Bar got shortlisted easily in the 9th Modern Decoration International Media Award held by the magazine Modern Decoration. The award started in 2003, and was established by Modern Decoration, a first-tier specialized magazine for the industry of architecture and interior design. Totally this reward received 4,000 or so excellent works from Mainland China, the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong as well as other countries and regions. After the high-standard selection of the review committee, merely 80 fine works got shortlisted.
